They are right too Knoxville TN is a GREAT Place to live, work and raise a family

In choosing its 2009 lineup of Top 100 Places To Live In America, Relocate America focused on areas with stable local economies and in which the housing market has avoided precipitous price drops.

It’s not a bad formula and topping the list of Top 100 Places To Live In America is Tulsa, Oklahoma, a city in which unemployment rates are 3 percent below the national average and the housing stock is, in general, considered affordable.

This was a common theme among the cities included, the Top 10 of which are:

Tulsa, Oklahoma
Dallas/Ft Worth, Texas
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina
Huntsville, Alabama
Houston, Texas
Albuquerque, New Mexico

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Relocate America notes that the cities on its 2009 list are poised to make a faster comeback from the economic recession than other U.S. cities, and few experienced the effects of the housing boom earlier this decade.

My company is merging and offering relocations in TN. I am looking for rentals in the Knoxville Area.

Question I have are what is the weather like, culture, quality of life. I am from Utah and looking for a change

Any info you could provide would be helpful

George, Knoxville is a GREAT place to live. My family and I relocated here a few years ago and just love it. With the weather you get 4 seasons and it is pretty much a mild climate. The winters are short and it isn’t often we get snow. You have a very strong employment base in Knoxville. The cost of living,and real estate are very affordable with low taxation.

There is alot to do in Knoxville we have a vibrant downtown area and very cultural diverse group of people who live here. You will find the people in Knoxville very friendly and helpful.

If you are looking to make a change and a GREAT place to live Knoxville TN is one worth giving strong consideration. If you need anything else let me know and Thanks for your comments and question
