Turkey Creek Public Market Provides Food, Shopping, Entertainment

TurkeyCreekPublicMarketThe  Turkey Creek Public Market offers residents of Knoxville something they have not already experienced. The Public Market is not just another shopping center or flea market. It offers a unique shopping, dining and entertainment experience.

So what makes the Turkey Creek Public Market different from just your average flee market?

The concept for the Public Market is based on other successful, upscale markets, like the Pike Place Market in Seattle and the Rochester Public Market. The concept for the Market allows for a wide-range of local vendors to display their products. It has everything from fresh, local produce and homemade, gourmet foods to  antiques and other hard to find items. With over 700 local vendors, every shopper is likely to find what they are looking for.

Another aspect of it which makes it stand out is the sheer size of it.  The Market has 3 football fields of space for up to 700 vendors, in both indoor and outdoor spaces, making it Tennessee’s largest indoor market. Not to mention, the Market was built to be environmentally friendly. With things such as light optimization and computer regulation of temperature, the Market is able to cut its environmental impact by the equivalent of cutting 15,791 gallons of gas per year.
