You are getting ready to put your home on the market to sell. Before you put it up for sale you begin to look at your home differently than you do when you just live there day by day. Questions are going through your mind….. Should I paint this room, have the carpet cleaned, empty this closet… Where do I start????

My suggestion would be to hire a professionally trained stager. That is what they do for a living and they know what they are doing when it comes to getting your home ready to sell. I would choose someone with and  ASP Designation . I work very closely with Sheri Robinson here in Knoxville. She is excellent and does a wonderful job for my clients.

Is Staging Expensive?

This is one of the biggest myths sellers have about staging their homes. Yes, it will cost you a few bucks to get it done correctly. But for most people who are still living in their homes the stager will work with your current homes furnishings just less of them. I have found for most people they can have their home staged for a few hundred dollars. That small of an investment will bring BIG RETURNS .
