Fox Den Gets New Entrance

Fox Den subdivision in Farragut just got a new front entrance.  The new entrance wall replaces the former real estate office that was located on the island at Fox Den’s entrance off Kingston Pike. The new entrance is very beautiful  and blends very nicely with the current stonework at the entrance. This has been a project that many homeowners in Fox Den have been working on for a while and they are very proud to make this wonderful enhancement to their neighborhood.

Mayor Ralph McGill praised the committee and homeowners for the beautiful new entrance. “As a Town, we need to continue to do things that set us apart” McGill said.

The design itself was done by Kristen Grove a partner at Johnson Architecture. Mark Fuhrman and Jeanne Lane, Complete Landscape Service Inc., were the landscape architects. John Stiles, Stiles Stones completed the masonry work on the new wall and Preston Farrabow, Ironwood Studios, constructed the gate.

The gate itself was donated by the Fox Den Women’s club which raised $5000 from the sale of their cookbook.

Fox Den is one of the first subdivisions that was developed in the Farragut area. There are approximately 440 homes in the subdivision with different price ranges and styles of homes to fit most anyone’s taste in housing. The homes have been built and developed around Fox Den Country Club.
