The West Knoxville and Farragut area will see many new businesses and restaurants opening over the next few months. Here is a list of new businesses and restaurants opening in Farragut and West Knoxville over the coming months.
New Restaurants
Zoe’s Kitchen is an Alabama based food chain that specializes Mediterranean style comfort food. Its menu offers delicious, healthy food, with gluten free and vegetarian options. Zoe’s Kitchen will have two locations in Knoxville, the first opened in Bearden and the second will open in Turkey Creek sometime this fall. The Turkey Creek location will take over where Pimentos used to be in Turkey Creek.
Newk’s will be opening a second location in West Knoxville in the Cedar Bluff area, near the new Kroger Market Place. Newk’s already has a location in Turkey Creek area. Newk’s offers a casual, quick dining experience with delicious soups, salads, and sandwiches.
LongHorn Steak House will open its first Knoxville location in the Turkey Creek area. LongHorn Steak House specializes in serving high quality beef, chops, and ribs in a Western inspired atmosphere. The Farragut location is expected to open sometime this fall.
New Businesses
Costco is the long awaited wholesale club coming to Farragut at the intersection of Lovell Road and Kingston Pike. Confirmation of Costco coming to Farragut was released last summer. It is expected to open in late November. The business will offer everything from groceries to furniture to electronics. Members are able to purchase these items at a lower price since the business operates on a warehouse format, which allows them to cut operating costs. Costco sells name brand items as well as their own brand of items called Kirkland Signature.
Ulta Beauty has recently opened its first Knoxville location in the old Borders location in Turkey Creek. Ulta offers a wide range of make-up, fragrances, and beauty products. It also offers its own full service salon.
Whole Foods has been another business that has been much anticipated. While Whole Foods will not be opening this Fall in West Knoxville, the organic food grocery store does have plans to open a West Knoxville location sometime in 2013 in Papermill Plaza, at the intersection of Kingston Pike and Papermill Drive.
