Knoxville Restaurant Week 2013 is here again. It allows Knoxville residents to eat and drink for a great cause (and at a reduced price.
Knoxville Restaurant Week helps raise money for Second Harvest Food Bank, with $5 from every meal donated to the organization. Many local restaurants participate in Restaurant Week, making it a great opportunity for residents to try out new place to eat or visit an old favorite.
Second Harvest Food Bank helps feed over 158,000 hungry people each month in their 18 county area. Second Harvest Food Bank is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to feeding the hungry through church pantries, group homes, shelters, and local kitchens. It also helps serve KARM,Loves Kitchen and the Salvation Army.
This year Knoxville Restaurant Week runs from Sunday, February 24th to Friday, March 1st. There many local restaurants participating in Knoxville Restaurant Week 2013. Each restaurant will serve a specific menu that ranges between $25 and $35. Each meal includes a soup or salad, a main course, and a dessert. Customers get to enjoy a great three course meal at a much lower price, while $5 from each meal goes to benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank.

Starter – Cheese basket and salad bar.
Entree – Includes 12 cuts of meat including beef, lamb, pork, chicken and sausage. It also includes 3 side dishes.
Dessert – Brazilian Flan or Creme Brûlée
Cost – $35
Fleming’s
Starter – Fleming’s Salad with walnuts, cranberries, tomatoes, and croutons
Entree (choose one of the following):
(1) Filet Minion
(2) Barbecue Scottish Salmon with mushroom salad and a barbecue glaze.
(3) Chicken Breast baked in white wine with mushrooms, shallots, and thyme sauce.
Dessert – Creme Brûlée or Turtle Cake
Cost – $35
The Chop House
Starter – Soup of the Day, House Salad, or Caesar Salad
Entree (choose one of the following):
(1) 6 oz. Filet with baked potato
(2) 8 oz. Prime Rib with baked potato
(3) 8 oz. Salm with rice, broccoli, and seasonal topping
(4) Tennessee County Chicken with mashed potatoes and broccoli
Dessert – Cheese Cake
Cost – $25
