Mount LeConte is no walk in the park, but the views will blow your mind! Take the 11.0-mile roundtrip via Alum Cave Trail (or choose from other trails) for sweeping vistas you’ll never forget. It’s a challenging hike with an elevation gain of 2,763 feet, so wear proper shoes and watch your step.

This trail is one of the park’s most popular hikes. This 3.3-mile roundtrip trail packs a punch with a steep climb of over 960 feet in the last mile. The bare rock summit offers incredible vistas, making it a hit with visitors. Plan ahead if you want to beat the crowds for the best experience.
Catch the sunrise or enjoy a stroll on the short and sweet Clingman’s Dome Trail. At 6,643 feet, it’s the highest point in the park, providing a 360-degree view of the Smokies. Most people would not recommend it for elders, pets, or bicycles due to the high elevation.
