The holiday season in Farragut officially begins with the Countdown to Light the Park on Monday, Nov. 25, at Founders Park at Campbell Station. From 5:30 to 7 p.m., the town comes together for live entertainment, free refreshments, and the excitement of watching the park light up for the season. It’s the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit!
Starting November 26 and running every evening through January 2, thousands of twinkling lights will decorate the stretch of Campbell Station Road. The lights shine nightly from 7 to 10 p.m., transforming the area into a glowing winter wonderland. The display runs from the I-40 commuter lot all the way to Mayor Ralph McGill Plaza at the Campbell Station Inn, so you can enjoy the sights as you stroll or drive by.
This year, a brand-new holiday activity in Farragut is a synthetic ice skating rink with an ice-like feel! Located at the Campbell Station Inn (11409 Kingston Pike), the rink is open from November 23 through January 4 (closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve).
It’s a fun way to add some holiday magic to your evening, whether you’re skating with family or enjoying a night out with friends.
Head over to The Cove at Concord Park for one of the area’s most enchanting light displays. From December 3 to January 3, a three-quarter-mile greenway trail is transformed into a sparkling pathway lined with animated holiday-themed displays synced to music.
Whether walking or just soaking in the atmosphere, this annual favorite is a must-visit.
For a laid-back light display, check out Lakeshore Park. Trees throughout the park are beautifully lit with festive holiday decorations. The display runs from December 1 through January 1, offering a simple yet charming way to celebrate the season. You can drive through or take a peaceful walk to enjoy the lights at your own pace.
