University Of Tennessee Ranked #3 On List Of Best College Tailgates

The University of Tennessee was named one of the best college tailgates in college football, by fansided.com, ranking #3 on the national list.  This may not come as a shock to Knoxville residents who know UT boasts a great tailgate. Still, it is great for UT to receive national recognition for its tailgates.

Tennessee beat out many other southern teams on the list including Georgia, Clemson, Florida, Alabama, Auburn, and Texas. Tennessee ranked high on the list due to its unique tailgating experience, strong traditions, and loyal, dedicated fan base. With the Tennessee River and the Vol Navy, Tennessee has a tailgate unlike any other.

This is not the first time that Knoxville has topped a national ranking list this year. Earlier this year, Knoxville was named one of America’s most affordable cities by Forbes. Knoxville ranked #5 on a list of American cities where residence enjoy a low cost of living. Knoxville was also named one of the Best College Sports Towns, ranking #2 on the national list.
